I always wondered if Linus was actually a slimy POS, but this Billet Labs situation has cemented it for me. If you haven’t watched the Gamers Nexus followup video, definitely watch it.
You’re missing the point that you’re out here saying it doesn’t work as intended, when apparently it does. That wouldn’t be happening without LTT fucking them over.
Not OP, but I think the point they’re making is that LTT screwed up the video, and that the drama sparked from LTT’s screwup gave Billet a lot of publicity they wouldn’t have had otherwise.
Personally, I’d trade the publicity for my only working prototype and $2,000 GPU back and a video that didn’t shit on me, but if you believe any publicity is good publicity…
I understand they point they’re trying to make, but while attempting to do so they repeated the same false conclusion that LTT came to in the review. Someone pointed that out to OP and rather than take that comment in good faith they wanted to harp about “missing the point”.

To reiterate the point. Most consumers don’t give a shit about boutique water cooling solutions. There is a subset of people who think are 100% willing to put outrageous amounts of money for this crap that is only improving their temps by 3-5 degrees. If LINUS AND HIS TEAM tested the product properly a fraction of the goodwill they have right now wouldn’t exist. They are currently stars in their own David and Goliath story which likely translated in sales either via the monoblock preorders they have up or their copper fittings they are selling. Billet Labs have awesome craftsmanship and even in the “shit” video about them does compliment them on that regard.
