Played it a couple of years ago. It’s arcadish, nice, it’s artstyle works great to diminish the fact it’s very old, but the final boss suck ass, so I’d just googled a guide for defeating him.
This was an absolutely amazing game when I played the original. The art style is not aiming for realism either so those games tend to hold up well. I would highly recommend picking it up.
Edit: Just checked on steam and it looks like they have added Denuvo DRM. Maybe you can find an old version without it?

It might be the best Zelda game of its generation

It’s on GOG. Currently on sale for $3. It’s the non-remastered version, but I doubt that will hold people back much.
