Drag performers don’t identify as the gender they are performing as. They aren’t trans. They are literally dressing up for the fun of it and performing dance, comedy or choreographed musical numbers for a crowd.
They’re not “playing” dress-up. They think their wishes define reality and that’s an idea most people grow out of at an early age.
