Yeah I don’t understand “but the guy is bigger” argument. If the guy is being yelled at by a taller more muscular wife, is the man being abused because he’s the weaker party? What if the guy is bigger but wife is trained by Bruce Lee or some shit. Is the guy still the victim since he’s more vulnerable? It’s just too ambiguous, and also implies all women are weaker than men, which is stupid.

I am a pretty big dude at 6’6’’ and my ex-wife was 4’7’'. She was abusive. Gaslit me, lied to me, manipulated me all the time and hit me. I felt like I couldn’t fight back because I would utterly destroy her if I had and I’d be in trouble. I put up with this shit for 5 years before I got help and divorced.

Being bigger doesn’t mean fuck. In fact, we can have it worse because nobody believes you, or questions why you don’t fight back.

Big guy can be really soft and have a weaker physically abusive wife and don’t know what to do about it but crying to himself what he did wrong and think it’s his fault.

I think it tends to be from a certain kind of framing of abuse, a certain kind of mentality. It’s the same one that has the reaction to cyberbulling of “oh, you should just log off”, type of thing. It’s an oversimplification that basically only conceives of abuse as being as a result from a kind of strictly physical and obvious power imbalance, rather than thinking of abuse as being a more complicated psychological phenomena. You don’t even need a scenario in which a woman is like, trained by bruce lee, or anything, you just need an idea that women are capable of somewhat basic psychological manipulation, and you maybe need a man that’s vulnerable to it.

It’s a question of math. Men have on average 60% more upper body strength and longer arms, so it’s rather easy for any man to murder almost any women with his bare hands. Obviously this lead to various social adaptations which maybe can be mathematically modeled through game theory. There are always exceptions but the vast majority, like 90% of domestic murders are committed by the male partner.

So here we are after thousands and thousands of years of evolution. Equating or simplifying this topic is a major tactic by the fascists (male supremacy).
