The US State Department in particular have a clear hand in supporting and condoning Israel’s violence, and actively thwarting any restraints on how far Israel’s far-right government takes it. The ones with a sense of integrity resigned in protest.
The Palestinian blood shed at the hand of Israel is on American (and to a lesser extent) Canadian and other Western countries’ hands as well. I’m frankly disappointed Trudeau hasn’t come out with stronger, continual condemnations after the ICJ ruling either.
