The first paragraph sums it pretty accurately. We conceded Chechnya, we conceded Georgia, we conceded Crimea and now he’s after the entirety of Ukraine. He. Will. Not. Stop until all former Soviet territories are under Russia again. Sound familiar?

This opinion is on par for the Eurasia program as a whole, which the author is part of. I would be curious to see if they have the same opinion of US supporting Israel for 75 years as “unnecessary, dangerous, and costly”.

The only peace agreements Russia ever offered was making Ukraine another puppet state like Belarus. Which basically required them to demilitarize so that Russia could integrate them into Russia officially at a later point.

      I-was-saying

Also don’t forget cruel and unconscionable

    • you sadly seem to still be chewing american propaganda. russia was demanding that the ukraine would return to the status of of neutrality that it had before the 2014 cia-backed neonazi coup. the demilitarization is necessary, just like the denazification in order to guarantee an absence of any further military threat to the russian population within the country, a population that the current fascist ukrainian government previously tried to mass murder. also belarus is clearly not a puppet state of anybody, despite nato propaganda painting it as such. just look at their economic relations.

also, russia is currently a vital part in the worldwide anti imperialist axis of resistance, and while i would argue that the government should be doing more to help the palestinians, it is still much better than any western nation.

Are you from Belarus or know anyone in real life that lives there? Because I do, and I can tell you with certainty that people who live there have a different view from yours. So you can insist it’s a NATO propaganda, but I’m sorry I will believe people I actually know and trust over you.

russia is currently a vital part in the worldwide anti imperialist axis of resistance

That is rich since imperialist Russia is the one who is occupying parts of Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine.

You claim to be in support of Russia, yet you misrepresent them and their goals. Putin himself said he’s an imperialist and his primary goal before his death is to restore former USSR territories.

Are you from Belarus or know anyone in real life that lives there?

I know half dozen and most of them would say that you’re spreading BS propaganda (with fair exception of one my former coleague who have taken all Tikhanovskaya stuff so close to his heart so he is in immigration now).

That is rich since imperialist Russia is the one who is occupying parts of Moldova, Georgia, and Ukraine.

Are you from Moldova or know anyone in real life that lives there? Because i know 3 Moldovans in real life and none of them have anything against indepdependence of Transnistria and none of them is somehow excited with Sandu’s warmongering or have any wish to take part in war effort to recapture Transnistria. Are you from Donbass or know anyone in real life that lives there? Because i know A LOT of people from there and have been there A LOT of times (as Donetsk is my father’s hometown). And all of those people would say that you’re spreading BS propaganda. Are you from Abkazia or know anyone in real life that lives there? Because i’ve been there once and i can bet that you haven’t. As if you’ll tell Abkhazian that his country is somehow part of Georgia occupied by Russia, you won’t be happy with outcome.

        • previous reply was formatted like shit, sry

i do infact have relatives in belarus, albeit its irrelevant, since anecdotal evidence doesnt matter. if you look at the economic policy of the belarusian government you will see that it is exclusively orientated towards domestic economic development, something a client state would never have. your relatives seem sadly to be liberasts who have been manipulated by polish and american propaganda, regimes that actually want to subjugate belarus.

the second part of your reply is, and im sorry to say that this harshly, pure unadulterated bullshit. not only is the supposed quote from putin unsourced and most likely fabricated, you also have obviously no idea of what imperialism is, in which case you should read theory (lenin, mao, fanon, sankara, etc…). imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism, one that russia has not yet reached, and the russian national bourgeoisie has currently limited aligned interests with the world proletariat, due to being opposed to the primary contradiction that is western imperialism.

i hope this whole text wasnt in vein and you were actually arguing in good faith and not just another western troll doing
