Poor Weeoming.
Florida finally we can get rid of Flo…ah nuts
How is this alphabetical? I keep looking for some logic to it but I can’t find it
States get smaller in alphabetical order. Alabama is huge, while West Virginia is tiny.
What’s going on with Hawaii, then?
States starting with A are huge, states starting with W are tiny. (If there were states starting with Z they’d be even smaller)
That’s what I originally thought, but if you compare Maine and Alaska, the sizes aren’t much different to my eye
Maybe he took all the current areas of the states. Then reassigned them alphabetically. Rather than creating new areas.
I don’t know, it’s a dumb concept anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Then why is Hawaii fucking massive?
Hawaii’s landmass is spread out across islands. If you smash them all together the size looks like it’d be comparable to Illinois. Colorado, on the other hand, looks a bit large.
I like how Alaska still doesn’t get credit for its real size compared to the lower 48.
A new way of gerrymandering.
I enjoy this a lot. My favourite is either Luigiana/Waluigiana or the rename for Hawaii
As an Oregonian, I have mixed feelings about this one…
