I was watching #loserfruit this morning. I noticed that she started using @firefox ! A #fortnite creator using #foss !
I’m probably just in a toxic mood, so I’m sorry for what I’m going to say, but…
WOW, Someone who plays a game and ALSO uses a BROWSER? Wow, breaking news, I guess. /s
And that is noteworthy because?
Purely informational question: to me this seems to say “she started using!” Later the title clarifies that she’s using a FOSS tool of some kind. Is there a word missing? Or is “!” (just an exclamation point) a FOSS app? I get the overall gist of the message, but I’m confused about a detail.
Its missing “@Firefox”. Probably bad parsing.
Posts from Mastodon remove all mentions from the title.
If you read the body of the post, you can see it says '@Firefox`
This is great, free publicity
the amount of hashtags on this post makes my eyes hurt
Up until recently, that was literally the only way for search and content discovery on Mastodon. They’re still very important there.
OBS is also FOSS 😉
@AYTCreators @firefox@lemmy.ml
It’s true that @Firefox deserves more love because their browser is and has always been awesome imo. Though I don’t spend much time on Twitch is it that uncommon to see a streamer using something else than a chromium based web browser ? Honest question
@Tinkering_Gator @firefox@lemmy.ml @Firefox yeah , I see most of the creators I watch use chrome or opera. It’s truly a miracle.
