Of all the places, where would you like not to see a car the least?
I would say in a park.
And that is seemingly the place where Citroen decided to shoot the official pics for the cars presentation.
I especially like the pic where 2 guys look like having just parked their car and move away smiling, while I think they should be arrested!
The war on cars podcast did an interesting episode on car advertisements that really boiled down to many car ads advertising a car as a ticket to the outdoors. With beautiful shots of the car driving down forested roads, crossing rivers and destroying the environment it promised to bring you to.
The other styles of car commericial include,
recklessly driving through city streets or rural mountain roads & Buy this truck or you won’t be a man
Never any other cars in car ads, the road is all yours
Also note how in car ads there is never any traffic whatsoever.
Well… I guess showing a shiny new car stuck in rush hour just doesn’t sound so appealing :P

I look forward to the day cars come with danger warnings baked into their paint jobs, just like cigarettes now come in dissuasion packaging.
It thinks it’s people.
Or maybe this is the UK. I constantly see cars driving on segregated paths and parking illegally and nobody cares.
