Too many people are taking advantage of our country and I don’t think many people know how to report it. Overstaying is a crime! Working illegally is a crime! Violating housing rules is a crime!

Let’s help get rid of crime in this country.

Wanting a better life is not a crime.

Unless you’re a first nations person, you are descended from an illegal immigrant.

Nope. Colonists is a completely different word. Imagine that. Different things are different things.

Colonists were absolutely illegal immigrants. They just came to Canada stole land, stole goods, and murdered and raped the locals - and they did it at a much higher rate than illegal immigrants today. Colonists were the fucking worst.

The laws of the local tribes.

There are very few societies that have ever existed on earth who’ve been happy being murdered for their land.

Name 1 society that hasn’t destroyed another and taken their land.

Cool, now everything is illegal so nothing is illegal - modern illegal immigrants to Canada could justify their arrival by simply not recognizing Canadian laws and sovereignty following your line of logic.

Why are you targeting individuals just trying to survive instead of reporting corporations who hire illegally?

You are angry at the wrong thing. Take the boot of capitalism out of your mouth

Yeah, people wouldn’t be coming and staying if there wasn’t anything for them to go to.

We’ve also been putting lots of roadblocks for immigrants that make it hard to do it legally. When you’re desperate, people turn to doing it the illegal way.

It would take me 4 years to legally bring my wife home, through marriage. It already took us over 2 years to get me in the US with her. We want things to work out fine long term so we’re doing everything proper, but I definitely understand why people decide to opt out. We might as well not allow immigrants in since it’s so difficult to get in.

The whole thing is a manufactured problem anyway. We’re sitting on brand new homes for years that go unsold because the developers are greedy and try to sell them for way too much. There’s still big worker shortages in many sectors, shops closed because there’s nobody to run it.

90% of the people in my department are Indians. They have social groups where they tell each other how to break the law. It’s not about surviving it’s about pretending you’re a big shot back home by being international and worldly.

I’ve had people offer me $50k to marry one of their relatives or to lend me money to buy a house in my name and then transfer the deed. Yes I reported them both. They clearly don’t need help to survive.

Or how about those guys exploiting Brampton food banks with thousands of dollars in their accounts and posting on Instagram in Hindi about how to get “free food” in Canada?

What’s stopping people from reporting those companies as well? By the way when it comes to economic immigrants they aren’t looking for a better life. They are looking to pretend to have a better life while talking about how much better they had it back home. If you worked with them you would know it’s all for showing off.

      Economic immigrants are not refugees.

That reply was actually even worse than I expected it to be jfc

        Economic immigrants are not refugees.

Correct! A refugee and an immigrant are actually two different things!

So do you hate immigrants or refugees?

Illegal immigrants. Pretty obvious. They aren’t here to make Canada home. They are here to take what they can before leaving Canadians holding the bag. Ever wonder why they stop at PR and never apply for citizenship?
