My car does this automatically. If you floor it, the vents start blowing hot air.
It does make me wonder how much it really helps.
Like the vents start blowing hot air or the ac shuts off temporarily? If the former, then your ac probably just can’t keep up with the extra heat in the engine
Or how about when a car is overheating and you turn on the heater for that extra bit of heat capacity?
I regret to inform you that I have experience with this in the middle of summer.
