(Or at least partly factual, I don’t know if we’ve proved that they can’t read.)
- They can go a lifetime without water
Birds are experts in conserving water.
Along with mammals, they’re the only animals capable of concentrating urine, and this helps them reduce the water they need, thus reducing their weight and making flight a heck of a lot easier – even if they choose not to fly much.
These birds can go an entire lifetime without drinking water (technically, so can everything else, but at least in roadrunners that lifetime isn’t reduced by it), and get their moisture entirely from their diets.

Chuck Jones did the research!
I don’t care what Chuck Jones has to say.
I need Chuck Testa.
Is that roadrunner holding a sign?
Nope. Chuck Testa.
How about Chuck Tingle?
When he popped into hbomberguy’s 50-something hour Donkey Kong 64 nightmare stream for trans charity I lost it
My big brained billionaire coyote boyfriend wants to invite a roadrunner into the mix but I haven’t worked through my feelings about casual polyamory yet and also I am a ghost bigfoot
I’m cool with the whole furry thing, my friend. Good luck to you!
Ok. Can they write? Can they understand the concept of written language enough to hold a sign like that for others to read? 😏
They don’t have to know what’s on the sign to hold the sign.
Checks out. Meep meep.
Great detail about how they don’t drink… Nothing about them not being able to read. Sus.
Damn, he didn’t have to do UT San Antonio dirty like that
I always wonder if I can concentrate urine if I just wait when needing to pee and it goes away for some reason
I don’t piss at all, I just hold it in until it solidifies then squeeze kidney stones out like forcing a bunch of caltrops through a tube of gogurt.
This is wrong, what you have written here is wrong.
I mean, technically, anything can go a lifetime without water.
The joke was literally already made in the OP.
I didn’t read it because I am illiterate
Can you also go your whole life without drinking water?
Dictation software has come a long way huh
I mean, technically, anything can go illiterate

Put your hand in the Acme box.
Interesting! My cat definitely does not conserve urine.
Neither does the roadrunner. It CONCENTRATES urine, as in expels the uric acid and nitrogen dioxodes after pulling the water back out.
I bet its extra foul. lol get it?
I definitely wouldn’t want to be a plant when a roadrunner’s full bladder is nearby.
